Little House Ornament Finish

I have just completed my "Merry Skater" Ornament from LHN.  This particular series of ornaments is just magnificent.  They have been so much fun to stitch, and are so incredibly charming.

I am working on my "Winter Sheep" today; and  I have the charts "Snowy Pines" and "Red House in Winter" waiting to be stitched.

Hunter Green

Just a quick post because I work tonight - I am still camera free so I am unable to get a good picture, but I am in the process of painting my house Hunter Green.  It really makes my stitched work look fabulous, especially with  the linens I have used.  I wish I could show you a better photo because this picture doesn't really give the true color.  The photo is a little dark due to the paint color and the use of a phone camera.  I hope you can get the idea though - Take a look:

Won't my house look great at Christmas - especially with all of the LHN Ornaments :) I think so !!
Have a great Weekend

Blackbird Designs Exchange

My partner received her exchange from me so I can post the pictures now :)
This is a Box finish stitched on 32 Count Evenweave Rit Dyed (Tan) by me to give a primitive look to the piece.  It is stitched over 2 threads.  This is a freebie design from Black Bird Designs found here.

I added a little painted detail (Alphabet Letters) to the sides of the box to match the pattern.
I also stitched two portions of the "Small Token" design to complete the inside of the box:
This was so much fun to create -

Blackbird Designs Exchange Received

I have excitedly been anticipating my Blackbird Designs Exchange gift for this is the first exchange I've participated in.  I have to tell you I am extremely pleased with my gift.  It comes from Mayte' from MagicX Stitch.  Her stitching is fabulous and the creativity with this project is beyond compare. What a fantastic job she has done.  I am so very inspired by her abilities :) Take a Look:

"A-tisket, A-tasket" from the book "Honeysuckle Manor"

Mayte' finished this as a small bag on Zweigart Belfast Linen. It is stitched over 2 with Dragon Floss Threads.
Gorgeous Finish !!!!!!!
